1) Create Your Volunteer Profile
Get started now! After you submit an application, you will receive an email to activate your Red Cross Volunteer Connection account. From there, simply follow the New Volunteer Checklist provided on your account home page to complete the following: register for orientation, update your profile, read and agree to Red Cross policies, initiate your background check and indicate your volunteering interest(s).
2) Attend a Red Cross Orientation
This required training highlights the history, values and fundamental principles of the Red Cross and reviews volunteer opportunities currently available within the chapter. You will enroll in this course through the online volunteer profile you create in step one.
3) Train for Your Volunteer Opportunity
Depending on which volunteer path you choose with the American Red Cross, you may need to complete additional training, and we will work with you one step at a time until you are ready to begin volunteering in your desired role.
